Lots of news the past few days about Kleiner Perkins and John Doerr investing $16 million in Zazzle.com. Check out the story and the comment by astute Ivan Pope. I tend to agree with Pope's critique.

Also of interest is that The Wall Street Journal story reported that one of Zazzle's best assets is that it has 500,000 digitized images. Makes me laugh when I realize that we at Jupitermedia own over 7 million digitized images (I doubt Zazzle owns any of the images, but rather it licenses them?).

Also, Zazzle has to worry about a lot of warehousing and physical inventory. I have fallen in love with ecommerce businesses such as our images division in which most of our inventory is digital-lots of ones and zeroes!
